CSMS # 65085008 - ACE Air, Ocean and Rail CAMIR New De Minimis Notification Code
The
ACE Air Import Manifest Appendix A
and the
ACE Ocean/Rail Import Manifest Appendix D
implementation guides have been updated with the following notification code:
4M - Withhold Entry Release - De Minimis Met
If a filer receives this code, it means that the shipment’s value exceeds the de minimis threshold. Accordingly, the filer will need to request a different type of clearance.
Please note that this code is part of the Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments enhancement in ACE and is not yet deployed in the CERT or Production environment. The CERT and Production deployment dates will be announced in a later CSMS message.
