Last updated: February 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how CSMS Bot ("we," "us," or "our"), operated at csmsbot.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you access or use our website, email newsletter, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Email address — provided when you subscribe to our newsletter.

We do not collect your name, payment information, phone number, or any other personal data beyond your email address.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is collected automatically by our hosting provider.
  • Email engagement data — our email service provider may track whether emails are delivered, opened, or clicked. This data is used solely to monitor deliverability and service quality.
  • Security verification data — we use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse of our subscription form. Cloudflare may collect technical data as described in their privacy policy.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies strictly necessary for site functionality (e.g., administrative session management). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Send you our weekly email digest and related communications you have opted into.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Monitor email deliverability and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party for any reason.

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — we use third-party service providers to operate the Services, including Resend (email delivery), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and Cloudflare (security). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to use it only for the purpose of providing their services.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address and subscription data for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, we retain a record of your email address and unsubscription date for our internal records and to honor your opt-out preference. You may request complete deletion of your data by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information, and you provide it at your own risk.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Unsubscribe — you may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.
  • Access and deletion — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below.
  • Do Not Track — we do not track users across third-party websites and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share your personal information); and (d) not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
