Electronic Export Manifest (EEM) implemented three (3) validations to promote accurate formatting in the EEM party details and Destination Country.
The validations were made available in Certification October 8, 2024. They were made available in Production October 22, 2024, and initially set to INFORMATIONAL.
Starting December 11, 2024, the validations will be set to FATAL in Production. EEM submissions will be rejected until the message is corrected.  The EEM data elements must be submitted in the correct segment outlined in the
EEM Implementation Guides (IGs)

The following validations have been added to the EEM
(IG) Appendix J – Response Codes
:
640— MISSING SH PARTY INFO— B/L Shipper party information is missing
641— MISSING CN/UC PARTY INFO— Both B/L Consignee and Ultimate Consignee party information are missing. Need provide at the least one of them.
642— INVALID DEST CTRY CODE— B/L Consignee/Ultimate Consignee party info country code is not provided or is not valid.
