CSMS # 66170110 - Information on Customs Broker Permit User Fee Changes Effective October 1, 2025 U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 09/15/2025 09:00 AM EDT CSMS # 66170110 - Information on Customs Broker Permit User Fee Changes Effective October 1, 2025 Pursuant to the General Notice (90 FR 34665) published July 23, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is adjusting certain customs user fees and corresponding limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2026 which will take effect on October 1, 2025. The Customs Broker Permit User Fee will change from $180.57 to $185.38. All broker permits issued on or after October 1, 2025, are subject to the new user fee. All payments of the annual user fee for calendar year 2026 (CY26) are also subject to the new fee amount. The CY26 annual user fee payment due date will be announced in a future Federal Register Notice.
