U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is currently soliciting for a Centralized Examination Station (CES) in the Area Port of Houston/Galveston, Houston Seaport. Applications for the CES will be accepted for 60 days beginning April 4, 2025, through June 3, 2025.
The public is invited to submit written comments on the need for a CES facility in the Area Port Houston/Galveston, Houston Seaport as specified in 19 CFR 118.2 and CBP Directive No. 3270-007a. The comments period extends for 30 days from April 4, 2025, to May 4, 2025. Interested applicants can obtain the CES application package by sending an email to
