CSMS # 65698577 - UPDATE: Importer/Bond Query K1 Output Record—CATAIR Update and Deployment Dates U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 07/21/2025 04:33 PM EDT CSMS # 65698577 - UPDATE: Importer/Bond Query K1 Output Record—CATAIR Update and Deployment Dates The Draft ACE Importer/Bond Query CATAIR has been posted to CBP.gov with the following changes: Output K1-Record Added new Bond Amount Record Location Indicator field to indicate whether bond amount value will be populated on the K1 or K2 records. Removed reference to ACS CATAIR and changed the wording to “Query: Extract Reference File chapter of the ACE ABI CATAIR document.” Added note 4 to explain the bond amount reporting change (9 digits or less in K1; 10 digits in K2) Output K2-Record Added new Bond Amount field for 10- digit bond amounts Added note 1 to explain the bond amount reporting change (9 digits or less in K1; 10 digits in K2) Output K8-Record Additional Information Qualifier Code is now mandatory; it was blank before The document is available in the “Draft Chapters: Future Capabilities” section of the CATAIR website on CBP.gov. The changes to the Importer/Bond Query will be deployed to the Certification (CERT) environment on July 24, 2025, and the Production (PROD) environment on September 25, 2025.
