CSMS # 65187598 - Auto-Rejection of Insufficient Cargo Description Enhancement Deployed to ACE CERT Environment Today
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) deployed the Auto-Rejection of Insufficient Manifest Cargo Description enhancement in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Certification (CERT) environment today.
This enhancement will implement the automated rejection of insufficient cargo descriptions, consignee names and shipper names for ACE Manifest filings and ACE Cargo Release entries.
Accordingly, the following ACE CAMIR implementation guides have been updated:
Air Import Manifest Appendix A
Ocean/Rail Import Manifest Appendix D

Truck Manifest ANSI X12 350 Message
This enhancement will be deployed to the Production (PROD) environment on
July 15, 2025

NOTE
: Trade and software developers that submit via the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) will need to program and begin testing in the (CERT) environment to incorporate these changes.
