CSMS # 65642102 - UPDATE - ACE Air, Ocean and Rail CAMIR New Disposition Codes for Insufficient Cargo Description/Shipper/Consignee U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 07/15/2025 02:03 PM EDT CSMS # 65642102 - UPDATE - ACE Air, Ocean and Rail CAMIR New Disposition Codes for Insufficient Cargo Description/Shipper/Consignee On August 20, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will make available for testing in Certification (CERT) the following rejection error codes for bill submissions that have an invalid cargo description, shipper name, and consignee name in addition to the previously deployed disposition codes for holds that are part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) enhancement for Automated Rejection of Insufficient Cargo Description, Shipper Name, and Consignee Name. 548 INVALID CARGO DESCRIPTION 549 INVALID SHIPPER DATA 550 INVALID CONSIGNEE DATA CBP has updated the following implementation guides (see table of changes) with the rejection error codes and previously deployed disposition codes. Air Import Manifest Appendix A Ocean/Rail Import Manifest Appendix D ACE Ocean CAMIR Appendix H Common Errors Truck Manifest UNEDIFACT CUSRES SN ACE Truck Manifest ANSI X12 355 Message ACE Customs Response Message Truck Manifest ANSI X12 350 Message For this ACE enhancement, the following disposition codes have been removed for the truck mode of transportation: 6H - Do Not Load – Invalid cargo description, shipper, or consignee hold placed 6I - Okay to Load – Invalid cargo description, shipper, or consignee hold removed SN521 - Do Not Load – Invalid cargo description, shipper, or consignee hold placed SN522 - Okay to Load – Invalid cargo description, shipper, or consignee hold removed The Production (PROD) deployment date will be announced in a future CSMS message. Trade and Software Developers that submit via the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) will need to program and incorporate these changes.
