Enhanced ACE Portal Account Application Now Available – Ensure CBP Form 5106 Information Is Up-to-Date

On October 30, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) automated the process for applying for a new Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal) top account with the Importer sub-account view. If needed, trade parties *with an existing CBP Form 5106 (5106 record) on file with CBP and without existing ACE Portal account access* should now use the new automated application to apply for ACE Portal access with the Importer sub-account view. The new tool is also now available on CBP’s Applying for an ACE Portal Account webpage [ https://www.cbp.gov/trade/automated/getting-started/portal-applying ].
