In support of
Executive Order 14114
, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires filers to provide a self-certification statement for applicable entries filed in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
On November 4, 2024, CBP updated the
ACE Document Image System (DIS) implementation guide
to add the new
IMPORTER_SELF_CERTIFICATION
document label code (DocCode:
CBP167
) for self-certification statement submissions. Currently, filers submit the self-certification statement via the
Other
document label code (DocCode:
CBP03
).
Beginning on January 27, 2025, filers must use the new document (CBP167) to submit a self-certification statement to CBP via DIS
.
