This CSMS notifies the trade community that on May 15, 2025, with the 2:00 p.m. ACE deployment, CBP will enforce a new validation requiring Supplemental Manifest information when submitting to the Export Manifest email inbox. Specifically, any email submitted to the DIS Export Manifest email inbox must include the Supplemental Manifest document (CBP168-AnyFileName.txt) that provides the agreed-upon manifest information. This supplemental manifest information can be found in the following document:
Technical Requirements for Ocean Export Manifest Submission via Email to the Document Image System (DIS) | U.S. Customs and Border Protection
NOTE: Every email sent to the DIS Export Manifest email inbox, irrespective of whether the email includes a 1302A export manifest, will require a CBP168-AnyFileName.txt document to be attached.
