CSMS # 63658882 - ACE Production Deployment Update for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Changes Related to Intended Use Codes
As previously noted in CSMS 63443664 and CSMS 63566274, this CSMS message confirms that the changes associated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Supplemental Guide (SG) (Draft Version 2.5.12 – updated 12/26/24) will be deployed to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Production (PROD) environment on February 1, 2025. These related FDA business rules will initially generate a warning to trade.
On March 1, 2025, there will be another deployment to the ACE PROD environment, after which the related FDA rules will generate a reject to trade.
